Service Description
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Throughout this course students will get to work in a wide range of mediums including graphite, charcoal, ink, watercolor, pastels, and more. While exploring these various mediums student’s will be building a foundation in their skill level and techniques. In this course students will learn the fundamentals of drawing—going over values, shading, 2-D shape, 3-D form, learning to observe and create from life and create from imagination. MATERIALS: Please purchase the following materials and bring to class each week: https://amzn.to/446cbzo I will provide the rest of the supplies. GRADES: 1st & up TIME: Wednesdays 3 - 4 PM CLASS MAX SIZE: 16 students CLASS DURATION: 2 semester class (12 weeks per semester) Start Date: October 4th, 2023. Academic Calendar with breaks for holidays is on previous page - look for AFTER SCHOOL ART CLUB Academic Calendar, because it has a different schedule from the rest of the classes. (IGNORE CALENDAR DATES LISTED BELOW.) LOCATION: Studio in Huntington Beach, CA. (Near Edison High school.) PRICE: $ 375 per semester (this is a 2 semester course). Price is subject to change each semester. plus $30 non-refundable registration fee to hold your spot. CHARTERS: If you would like to use your charter funds towards a Chapman Hamborg art class please submit a request to me as a vendor to your charter. Also send me an email letting me know you would like me to become a vendor with your charter. This is a secular (non religious) class.
