Service Description

PRICE: $ 425 per semester + $50 non-refundable registration fee At checkout you can pay the $50 registration fee to hold your spot. Then pay the class price $425 with cash/check on first day of class or pay through your charter. AGES: 6th grade & up TIME: Mondays 9:00am - 11:30am COURSE DESCRIPTION: In this class students will learn traditional techniques and methods of oil painting and then develop their personal style and process. Class subjects will be on color theory, light logic, perspective, composition, mark-making, and more. Throughout the year, students will paint from Old Master artworks, plaster casts, still lifes, plants/trees, live-portrait models, and photographs. Students will also work on personal painting projects with their own intent or goals for their art. This is a really informative and fun art class for beginners and advanced artists alike to develop as an artist and progress in their skills and creativity. MATERIALS: Easels are provided. The rest of the art supplies will be purchased by the student. A materials list will be sent out a few weeks prior to the first class. (Near Edison High School & Sowers Middle School.) CLASS SIZE: 16 students max. CHARTERS: Art Classes with Chapman Hamborg is an approved vendor with the following charter schools: Cabrillo Point Academy Pacific Coast Academy Sage Oak Charter Schools Scale Leadership Academy Blue Ridge Academy If you are with a charter school not listed above, and would like to use your charter funds towards an art class with Chapman Hamborg please submit a request to your education specialist/teacher for them to approve me as a vendor.
